Monday -- The remains of Jacob F. Phipps were laid to rest Sunday afternoon.  The funeral was held at 4 p.m.  Rev. J.E. Linn conducted the services.  The Senior order and both councils of the Junior order turned out.  A large number of railroad men of the Pennsylvania, Erie and B.&O. were in attendance.

BUTLER ... This town and vicinity were greatly shocked last Friday evening by the death of Jacob Phipps.  He was born, and raised at Butler, and his mother and sister live here.
